Spectator Safety Guidelines – ADAC Saarland-Pfalz Rallye
To enjoy the rally safely, please follow these rules carefully.
Arrival & Parking
- Park well away from the stages and keep access roads and emergency routes clear.
Stage Closures & Access
- Stages close about one hour before the first car starts.
- Never enter a stage or restricted area. Watch for barrier tape and warning signs (NO ENTRY – DANGER TO LIFE).
- Even when no cars are passing, do not enter – the stage is still closed.
- A stage reopens only after a Rally Control vehicle passes with a green flag or flashing beacon.
Behaviour on the Stage
- Keep a safe distance, even where there are no barriers.
- Do not stand on outside corners or escape routes.
- Follow instructions from marshals and safety personnel at all times.
- Do not interfere with emergency services during an accident. Additional help may arrive, including competitors, medics, and fire services. Private intervention is dangerous.
- Motorsport is dangerous. Your safety depends on following these rules.
- Be a fair and responsible fan: respect the competitors, behave safely, and remember that barrier tape is only a guide, not a protection.
Rules & Responsibilities
- Do not damage barriers or signs. Those responsible – including guardians of minors – will be liable for damages.
- Respect property, avoid damaging fields, and leave your area clean.
- No smoking in forests or service zones.
- Drones are strictly prohibited throughout the event.
Families & Pets
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Supervise children closely.
- Pets must be on a leash.
Thank You
- Thank you for following these rules and helping make the rally safe and enjoyable for everyone.
